MySpace Jobs Help
Return to MySpace Jobs- Q: Why should I use MySpace to look for a job?
A: We have more jobs than anyone, anywhere! Millions of them. Our job search is powered by Simply Hired, which operates the largest online job database on the planet. It pulls listings from job boards, company pages, online classifieds and many other data sources to help you find your ideal job.
- Q: How do I search for a job?
A: In the "keywords" box, enter job title, company name, or other words that will help you find the job you want. In the "location" box, enter city, state and/or zip code information (e.g. "San Francisco, CA"). Click "search" and watch the jobs roll in!
- Q: How do I apply for a job?
A: Just click on the job title and follow the directions for applying in the selected listing. For jobs where we can locate the application page, we'll take you directly there.
- Q: Should I contact MySpace to inquire about a job?
A: If you have questions about an application you've submitted, contact the company to which you.re applying. They'll appreciate your initiative, and unlike us, they'll know the status of your application.
- Q: Does MySpace provide support for job seekers who live outside of the U.S.?
A: At this time, we provide support for job seekers living in the United Kingdom and the United States, though you'll often find U.S. companies posting jobs located abroad. (E.g: type in "Hong Kong" and you'll find all kinds of jobs based there.)
We plan to expand into Canada in 2008, with more countries to follow later on. If you think we should be expanding into your neck of the woods, please contact us and let us know.
- Q: I work for an employer/a job board and would like to display our job listings on MySpace. How can I do that?
A: Looking to include your job listings on MySpace? For more information, click here.
- Q: What is Simply Fired? How can I participate?
A: Simply Fired (www.simplyfired.com) offers hundreds of wacky firing stories - along with the opportunity to recount your own tales of workplace woe for Simply Hired readers. Spill the beans and you'll have a chance to win one of their regular story contests.
